Fried needed 66 pitches for three innings and left trailing — the White Sox scored three in the first on a single, a sacrifice fly, and a triple. Chisholm's two-run double in the fourth left the bat at 106.4 mph and tied it, and the Yankees took the lead for good when Sean Newcomb gave up four earned on four hits in the seventh. The White Sox committed three errors and left nine on base. Ali Sánchez hit his first home run of the season in the third, and Braden Montgomery's triple in the first was his second of the year.
