Jung Hoo Lee drove in three of San Francisco's five runs — two on home runs, one on a ninth-inning sacrifice fly — and Logan Webb made sure that was more than enough. Webb struck out eight and walked one across six innings without allowing a run. Lee's first homer came off an 83 mph splitter in the third, his second off an 86.3 mph slider in the eighth. Cal Quantrill gave up three runs over six innings but only one was earned, the cost of a defense that committed five errors behind him. Texas had seven hits and left eight on base.
