Liam Hicks hit a grand slam in the third to answer Colorado's four, and by the ninth the lead had changed hands three more times. Jordan Romano walked two and gave up Jonathan Aranda's two-run single to blow the save, and from there both clubs were playing with whatever arms were left. Caminero's single in the eleventh left the bat at 110 mph and traveled eight feet — a groundball that found center field because it had nowhere else to go. Freddy Peralta gave up seven runs in under four innings, and that is the line that decided how many pitchers this game consumed. Seven pitchers for Tampa, seven for Colorado, and Garrett Cleavinger got the win for facing two hitters.
