The Orioles were held hitless through four innings by Freddy Peralta, then scored ten runs in the next two frames and turned a 1-0 deficit into a 10-2 finish. Peralta walked three and struck out two in 4.2 innings, and the bullpen behind him was worse — Steven Matz gave up five earned runs in 0.2 innings. Christian Encarnacion-Strand's three-run double was the blow that opened it up, Jackson Holliday doubled in two, and Colton Cowser went deep with a two-run shot to right center. Pete Alonso had doubled in two to put Baltimore ahead in the fifth. Trevor Rogers got the win with six innings of two-run ball, striking out six. Tampa Bay had nine hits but left eight on.
