Ben Rice's 34th home run went 447 feet at 110.2 off the bat, and Pete Alonso added his 29th at 423 and 109.9 in the same inning. The two shots in the third turned a one-run deficit into a lead New York didn't give back. George Lombard Jr. drove in the first run on a sac fly and the last on a single in the eighth. Will Warren threw 90 pitches in four innings, and five relievers covered the rest — Dylan Beavers homered in the sixth to cut the lead to one, and David Bednar closed it on 12 pitches.
