St. Louis built a lead on two early home runs and Baltimore never got closer than two. Blaze Jordan's three-run shot in the second came on an 84.8 mph changeup, and Ramón Urías followed two innings later with a two-run blast on a 3-2 sinker at 95.5. Coby Mayo went 446 feet to center — 111.2 off the bat — for a three-run shot in the seventh, but Gordon Graceffo was already two innings into three hitless frames, and St. Louis answered in the eighth on Nathan Church's single. Joshua Báez doubled for the first time this season.
