One run is all Boston scored, and they did not get it until the 8th when the score was already 7-0. Warren went seven innings of one-run ball — 98 pitches, seven strikeouts — and the Red Sox collected seven hits and scored none off him. Ramos's three-run homer in the 5th off a 1-2 curveball at 75.7 broke it open, and Goldschmidt's two-run single earlier in the inning set the table. The 8th added nine: Wells jacked one for two, Goldschmidt hit his 18th, and three Boston relievers combined for 10 earned on nine hits and five walks.
