Ten innings, and the winning run came home on a single to center. Isaac Paredes drove in three across two at-bats — a two-run single in the third, an RBI single in the fifth — and for five innings that looked like enough. Ketel Marte's twenty-second homer in the eighth tied it, and Josh Hader threw ten pitches in the ninth to keep it there. Bryan King took the loss in the tenth when Gabriel Moreno singled to score Ildemaro Vargas, and the run was unearned.
