David Sandlin didn't allow an earned run in five and two-thirds innings — two hits, three strikeouts — and took the loss because an error extended the sixth and Alec Burleson cleared the bases with a three-run double. All three runs were unearned. Michael McGreevy gave up three hits in six innings, struck out six, and George Graceffo struck out three in two innings behind him. George Soriano walked two in the ninth and still got through it.
