Jackson Chourio's three-run shot in the second — his twenty-fourth, on a 3-0 changeup at 85.9 mph — put Milwaukee ahead, but Trevor Megill gave back two in the ninth and forced ten innings. Pete Alonso's thirty-eighth, a three-run line drive that survived a home-run review, had put Baltimore in front in the third, and both bullpens traded zeros until the ninth. William Contreras doubled at 111.7 mph to open the ninth-inning rally, and Christian Yelich followed with the single that tied it. Eleven left on base, ten innings, and a rally that started with Contreras at 111.7 mph and ended with Frelick's single scoring Ortiz.
