Jacob deGrom walked four in 4.1 innings, threw 82 pitches, and left with Toronto ahead. The Rangers tied it in the 4th on Jake Burger's two-run homer — 106.7 mph off the bat, 395 feet — but never led. Tyler Alexander came in for the 7th, got nobody out, and was charged with three runs. Sean Keys, with the second double of his season, had driven in the game's first run on a 1-2 curveball in the 3rd; Toronto left nine on base and won by five anyway.
