Sixth-inning runs from a Luke Keaschall triple and a Brooks Lee single put Minnesota ahead, and the rest of the night was holding on. Taj Bradley threw 104 pitches in six innings — three walks, three hits, six strikeouts, one run — and left with the game tied. Walker Jenkins hit his fourth homer of the year in the seventh for the run that became the margin, and Jeff Hoffman walked two and gave up a run in the ninth but finished it on 24 pitches. Anthony Molina threw 85 pitches in six innings, gave up two earned runs, and took the loss in a game his lineup left 10 on base.
