Arizona had eight runs before Colorado scored, and Tanner Gordon wore most of it — 3.1 innings, 12 hits, 10 earned runs on 96 pitches. Gabriel Moreno's three-run homer in the first and Nolan Arenado's two-run shot, his 29th, built a 6-0 lead before the Rockies batted a second time. Colorado scored six runs in the seventh and eighth combined and still trailed by four. Eduardo Rodriguez went six innings, gave up nine hits, and allowed two runs without a walk.
