Milwaukee led 6-0 through four — Misiorowski gave them 5.1 innings of two-hit, zero-run ball — and then Chad Patrick entered the eighth and could not get an out. Two hits, four runs, 26 pitches, and Leo Bernal's three-run homer, his fifth, turned a laugher into a one-run scare. Shane Drohan got the last five outs, two by strikeout. The Cardinals had four hits and scored all four of their runs in the eighth.
