Kyle Schwarber's two-run homer in the first, on a 77 mph curveball at 1-2, gave Philadelphia a lead they held for eight innings. The swing that settled it was Alec Bohm's three-run shot to right in the fifth, a 90.8 mph cutter at 2-0 that put the Phillies up five. Sánchez allowed three hits across six innings, striking out ten without a walk on 87 pitches. Texas scratched for two in the ninth on Jake Burger's 438-foot homer, but the Rangers left six on base through eight innings when the game was still within reach.
