Joe Ryan left after four innings with nine hits and five earned runs on his line, and the Royals had the game in hand — until their own relievers started walking the ballpark. Daniel Lynch IV walked three in the seventh, Alex Lange walked three more in a third of an inning in the eighth, and Bailey Falter gave up three earned runs without getting out of the frame, which is how a club that scored thirteen and collected fifteen hits still needed Lucas Erceg for the save. Isaac Collins's second-inning double left the bat at 110.9 mph and traveled 298 feet. Minnesota scored nine runs, left eleven on base, and still lost by four.

◆ diamond fills = run scored
⚫ the out it made (1, 2, or 3), in that runner’s box
2‑4 a runner retired on the bases (caught stealing, picked off), written small in his box as the chain that got him
one dot per run driven in (RBI)
PH · PR · → a substitute badged by his name — pinch hitter, pinch runner, or defensive sub
A ABS (Automated Ball‑Strike) challenge — filled = overturned
The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
