The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The fifth inning tried to decide this one, and then the seventh tried again, and then the tenth finally did. Houston scored three in the fifth on Yordan Alvarez's two-run homer and Cam Smith's RBI single, and the Athletics answered with five — Tyler Soderstrom's bases-clearing triple off an 0-0 slider, then Brent Rooker's sacrifice fly. The seventh was just as loud: both clubs scored, Houston on Christian Walker's two-run shot and the Athletics on Rooker's home run and Jeff McNeil's RBI single. Bryan Abreu came in for the tenth, faced four hitters, gave up three runs, and recorded one out. Scott Barlow had done the same thing in the fifth — no outs, four runs allowed. Elvis Alvarado needed eight pitches to finish it.
