Three home runs in the first inning — Nimmo, Ohtani, Hernández — and the Dodgers had four runs before Jack Leiter could finish the frame. Leiter threw 93 pitches in 3.2 innings, walked four, and left having recorded 11 outs. Emmet Sheehan used 77 to get through six, struck out six, and allowed three runs — two of them on Brandon Nimmo's second homer of the night in the 6th. Teoscar Hernández's three-run blast in the 1st was the swing that settled it early. Texas finished with four hits and never got the deficit inside two.
