diamond fills = run scored
the out it made (1, 2, or 3), in that runner’s box
2‑4 a runner retired on the bases (caught stealing, picked off), written small in his box as the chain that got him
one dot per run driven in (RBI)
PH · PR · a substitute badged by his name — pinch hitter, pinch runner, or defensive sub
A ABS (Automated Ball‑Strike) challenge — filled = overturned
The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.

Tanner Murray's first home run of the season was a two-run shot in the second on an 0-2 changeup at 80.2 mph, and it gave Chicago a lead they would lose and regain three more times. Bobby Witt Jr. drove in a run with a walk in the third and another with a single in the fourth, and the Royals led twice and lost both leads inside the same inning. Colson Montgomery homered in the fourth, his third, and Andrew Benintendi walked in a run in the sixth to tie it at five. John Schreiber took the loss: one inning, one hit, one run, one walk, 22 pitches, and the run scored on a single. Seranthony Domínguez needed fifteen pitches for the save, nine of them strikes, and Chicago won a game that changed hands five times.
