Jacob deGrom threw 88 pitches to get through four innings, which is the kind of efficiency that moves a bullpen phone early, and five Texas relievers covered the last five without giving Seattle a chance to build anything. The Mariners had six hits and left nine on base. Logan Gilbert struck out seven in five and a third and still took the loss because the Rangers kept coming in small doses — Wyatt Langford's single in the third, Jake Burger's in the seventh — and Seattle's staff couldn't hold the gap. Corey Seager's double in the third was his second of the year, measured at 109.4 mph off the bat, and he scored on both plays that extended the lead from one run to three. Texas left thirteen men on and won by five anyway.

The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
