William Contreras drove in four runs by the fourth inning — a double, a homer, and a single — and Milwaukee had thirteen before Arizona stopped batting. Michael Soroka took the loss having allowed ten hits and eight earned in three innings. Luis Rengifo added a 2-run double and a run-scoring groundout. Tyler Black doubled for the second time this season in the loss. Shane Drohan ate four innings in relief, allowed one run, and collected the win. Arizona used six pitchers, including James McCann — a catcher — who threw 24 pitches and walked two. The Brewers' fourteen hits came with no errors attached.
