Nick Kurtz's double left the bat at 115.9 mph — the hardest contact of the night — and drove in two, turning a one-run deficit into a lead Kansas City never got back. Shea Langeliers had doubled in the tying run at 114.4 mph three batters earlier. Noah Cameron took the loss with nine hits in 5.1 innings, and the Royals left twelve on base. Elias Díaz hit his first home run of the season in the eighth, and Jack Perkins closed it with a clean ninth. Luis Medina got the win with 2.2 innings of scoreless relief.
