Taj Bradley struck out eight in six innings, and the Nationals did not score off him after the first. Brooks Lee's two-run double in the second, 108.0 mph off the bat, gave Minnesota the lead, and Trevor Larnach's two-run double in the fourth stretched it. Byron Buxton's three-run homer in the eighth — his eleventh of the year — turned a comfortable margin into a rout, scoring Lee and Royce Lewis. Cade Cavalli lasted four innings, gave up six runs, and only three were earned, and Washington used four relievers after him, none of whom kept it close.

◆ diamond fills = run scored
⚫ the out it made (1, 2, or 3), in that runner’s box
2‑4 a runner retired on the bases (caught stealing, picked off), written small in his box as the chain that got him
one dot per run driven in (RBI)
PH · PR · → a substitute badged by his name — pinch hitter, pinch runner, or defensive sub
A ABS (Automated Ball‑Strike) challenge — filled = overturned
The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
