Dylan Cease struck out ten in seven innings and did not need much more than the two runs Toronto gave him in the third. Reid Detmers walked six in 3.2 innings. Kazuma Okamoto's single and Ernie Clement's sacrifice fly were all the scoring. Jorge Soler hit the ball 112.7 mph in the first and it became a groundout at eight feet. Jo Adell doubled at 112.6 mph and never came around. The Angels had six hits and no runs.
