Joey Ortiz hit his first home run of the season in the third, a 1-2 knuckleball he drove to left center, and by the end of the next inning he had added a sacrifice fly to a five-run rally. Matt Waldron needed 59 pitches to record eight outs. He gave up six earned on eight hits, and the inning that finished him included run-scoring singles from Sal Frelick and Nick Castellanos and a two-run double from Brice Turang. Brandon Sproat went 5.1 innings for Milwaukee, gave up three earned, and got the win. Miguel Andujar homered in the sixth and doubled in a run in the eighth, but the deficit was four by then.
