Calvin Faucher threw 33 pitches in the eighth, walked three, and took the loss with three earned in two-thirds of an inning. Mauricio Dubón's single brought in Mike Yastrzemski, and the Braves added two more before the inning ended. Miami had led since the first, when Xavier Edwards homered and Kyle Stowers doubled in two, and Michael Harris II's 421-foot shot to center in the sixth had tied it. Martín Pérez struck out 10 over five innings for Atlanta and left with the game even.
