Munetaka Murakami lined a three-run double to left in the fourth inning, and by the time the inning ended, seven runs had crossed. Trevor McDonald gave up seven earned in 3.2 innings, and Davis Martin held the Giants to four over 5.2 for the win. The White Sox had five hits total and scored nine, which means the walks and the defense did half the work. Willy Adames and Luis Arraez drove in runs for San Francisco in the fifth, but the score was already 9-4.
