The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.

Messick threw 91 pitches across 5.2 innings and left with a 1-0 lead — Kwan's RBI single in the fifth, on a 3-2 fastball at 96.8, scored Schneemann. Painter matched him for six, giving up two runs on six hits with three strikeouts in 6.1 innings. Hoskins doubled in the sixth to make it 2-0, a 1-2 fastball at 97.6 that he grounded to left. Harper's sac fly in the seventh got Philadelphia within one. Then Bazzana came up in the eighth and hit a 0-1 four-seamer at 97.1, 412 feet to right — his third. The Phillies left nine on base and committed the error that didn't score but didn't help. Cade Smith needed 12 pitches for the save. Painter was good. Messick was one run better, and the bullpen behind him gave up nothing that mattered.
