Jarren Duran and Ceddanne Rafaela homered off Spencer Strider in the first inning, and Strider still threw five frames with five strikeouts despite the three earned runs — he walked three and threw 87 pitches. Matt Olson's two-run homer in the fifth got Atlanta within one, and the sixth inning brought three more: Michael Harris II's ground-rule double, a Dominic Smith groundout, and Ronald Acuña Jr.'s RBI single. Isiah Kiner-Falefa's first home run of the season extended the lead in the seventh, and Harris's two-run shot in the eighth proved decisive when Raisel Iglesias gave up two runs in the ninth and still saved it.
