J.P. Crawford saw two different pitches from Zac Gallen — a 3-1 fastball in the first, a 2-2 changeup in the fifth — and sent both over the fence for his eighth and ninth home runs. That gave Seattle a 5-1 lead through five, and then Arizona scored four in the sixth, Moreno's two-run double and Fernandez's RBI single in the middle of it, and Seattle's four-run lead was down to one. Gallen threw 84 pitches for five innings and left with five earned. Arizona finished with thirteen hits and left twelve men on base. They tied this game twice and never led it.
