The seventh inning is where this one broke, and it broke on Adrian Morejon. He got one out and left with three runs on the board. Trea Turner's single on a 99.4 mph fastball scored Justin Crawford and put Philadelphia ahead to stay. Zack Wheeler had already done his part — seven innings, two hits, two runs, eight strikeouts. Manny Machado's two-run homer in the same inning gave San Diego their last runs until the ninth. Jackson Merrill's home run with a man on in the final frame, 109.7 off the bat and 416 feet, made it 6-4 and stopped there.
