Nick Kurtz's two-run homer in the third left the bat at 113.9 mph and traveled 389 feet to right-center. Gage Jump went 6.1 innings, gave up three hits, walked three, and the Astros never scored. Brent Rooker added an RBI double in the same inning and a solo home run in the fifth, and Mike Burrows took the loss: five innings, eight hits, four earned runs. Houston managed four hits and stranded six.
