Tyler Zuber entered in the 8th, walked two, struck out one, and was charged with three earned runs in a third of an inning. Brandyn Garcia, who had preceded him, gave up four earned in 0.2 innings. Together they turned a close game into a Miami rout. Kyle Stowers had doubled home two in the 6th and Xavier Edwards had driven in runs with a single and a sacrifice fly. Corbin Carroll and Gabriel Moreno homered for Arizona, and Ketel Marte doubled home a run in the 7th. The Diamondbacks collected 10 hits and left 12 on base. Pete Fairbanks pitched a clean 9th, and Garcia and Zuber combined for seven earned runs in one inning.
