Justin Wrobleski needed only 67 pitches for six innings — 50 strikes, three hits, no walks — and Drew Rasmussen matched him zero for zero until a 0-0 cutter at 92 mph met Ohtani's barrel in the sixth and left at 106.9 mph, 427 feet to center. Ohtani's 15th home run was the only run either club scored. Rasmussen went seven full, struck out seven, walked nobody, and took the loss. The hardest ball struck all night — 110.5 mph off Ryan Vilade's bat — was ruled a field error in the seventh and never reached base.
