Willy Adames, Luis Arraez, and Bryce Eldridge all went deep off JR Ritchie in the second inning, and Ritchie threw 90 pitches in five innings before he was done. Atlanta trailed 5-0 and chipped away with single runs in the sixth before scoring three in the ninth off Matt Gage. Mauricio Dubón's two-run homer in that same ninth inning was the cushion the Giants needed. Arraez drove in four — his two-run homer in the second and a two-run single in the ninth — and Tristan Beck needed eight pitches to finish it.
