Dillon Dingler homered in the eighth to bring Detroit within a run and singled in the ninth to tie it, and the Tigers found one more run in the tenth. Luisangel Acuña's first home run of the season — a two-run shot in the sixth — had given the White Sox a lead that lasted until Dingler's single in the ninth. Keider Montero went seven innings of three-run ball for Detroit, and the White Sox led twice after the fifth. Spencer Torkelson and Matt Vierling singled in the bottom of the tenth, and Riley Greene crossed the plate with the run that ended it.
