Logan Webb threw 103 pitches across eight innings, gave up two runs, and took the loss. Kyle Stowers's 106.2 mph home run in the second and Otto Lopez's RBI double in the fourth were the only damage Miami did — five hits, two runs, both off Webb. San Francisco scored once, on a Casey Schmitt single in the third, and had four hits all night. Webb threw seventy strikes in eight innings and the Giants didn't score after the third.
