Cincinnati scored six runs in the fourth inning and sent nine men to the plate. Sal Stewart homered twice, both to right field — a two-run shot in the third and a solo in the fourth. José Alvarado came in for the sixth and gave up four earned on four hits and three walks in one inning. Chase Burns walked six in five innings but surrendered only three runs, and the Reds' pen held Philadelphia to two hits over the final four. The Phillies left ten on. Alan Rangel lasted 3.1 innings and took the loss, and Tanner Banks gave up four earned without recording an out in the fourth.
