Baldwin's RBI single in the fourth — on a 96.4 mph fastball, after a tag play was overturned and a collision call was upheld — tied the score, and Hicklen's first double of the year, at 109.1 mph off the bat, gave Atlanta a lead in the sixth. Fermín answered with a two-run single in the bottom of the inning, and the game stayed even until the ninth. Romero took the loss on an unearned run, and Iglesias needed ten pitches — seven strikes — to close it. The Braves left twelve on base and won anyway.
