Cole Young hit a sweeper 405 feet to right-center in the 7th inning, and three runs scored, erasing a deficit the Mariners had carried since the 6th. Logan Webb had given up two home runs in that inning — Rafael Devers to left, Willy Adames to right, back-to-back — and left after 6.2 innings with three earned and five strikeouts. The game went to the 10th tied, and Julio Rodríguez ended it on a sacrifice fly to left fielder Grant McCray that scored Victor Robles. Bryan Woo matched Webb for six innings with seven strikeouts, and Dylan Smith took the loss without giving up a hit — a walk and a sacrifice fly were enough.
