Dean Kremer gave up four runs in the first — Caleb Durbin's two-run single and Jarren Duran's two-run triple — and that was the shape of the night. Duran added a sacrifice fly in the third, and Christian Encarnacion-Strand's second home run of the year in the fourth gave Boston the room it needed. Kremer lasted six innings and gave up six earned; the Orioles collected eleven hits and left eight on, and never got the hit that closed the gap. Jake Bennett's 5.2 innings of three-run ball held it, and Aroldis Chapman walked one in the ninth but finished it.
