Gabriel Moreno's two-run homer in the fourth — on an 89.8 mph slider — was all Eduardo Rodriguez needed. Rodriguez threw eight innings on 105 pitches, allowed five hits, and never let Pittsburgh into the game. Jared Jones gave up three runs in six innings and lost, and Max Kepler's RBI single in the sixth gave Arizona their third run. Brandyn Garcia struck out two in the ninth to close it, and Pittsburgh managed five hits and left five on base.
