Joe Ryan threw 99 pitches to get through five and a third, and by the time he left Kansas City had five runs. Witt doubled in two in the fifth on a 92.1 mph sinker, then scored on a fielder's choice when the throw to third skipped away. Randy Dobnak gave up three hits over five innings and Minnesota never solved him — two errors behind their pitchers only widened what was already there. The Twins left nine on base and the closest they got was three runs back. Josh Bell's home run in the eighth and Starling Marte's two-run double were the hits that turned the margin into what the final score shows. Kyle Isbel followed Marte with the single that made it worse.

2‑4 a runner retired on the bases (caught stealing, picked off), written small in his box as the chain that got him

PH · PR · → a substitute badged by his name — pinch hitter, pinch runner, or defensive sub
A ABS (Automated Ball‑Strike) challenge — filled = overturned
The diamond fills teal when the run scores; the out lands in the box of the runner it was made on. Names link to their pages at www.feverbaseball.com. New to the marks? The primer scores a full inning from scratch. Every pitch under these marks is typed, clocked and located off the same official feed. A hand-scorer could record what happened; nobody could record the pitch that did it.
