Fernando Tatis Jr. turned around a 115.5 mph home run to left in the fifth — the hardest contact of the night by nearly six mph — and the Padres did not stop. Luis Campusano doubled twice and drove in three, and Xander Bogaerts went yard for two in the fourth. Michael King gave up four runs in six innings and still left with a lead, because Gavin Williams handed San Diego five earned in four and a third on four walks. The Padres left nine on base and scored seven anyway. Campusano's two doubles and three RBI are the night's difference, and the Guardians never got the tying run after the sixth.
