Three Minnesota home runs in the first two innings — Keaschall, Lee, and Culpepper — staked the Twins to a lead that kept shrinking. Andrew Morris came in for the seventh and gave up three hits and four runs, and Jake Cronenworth's two-run double on a line drive to left was the ball that put San Diego ahead to stay. Griffin Canning covered 3.1 innings without allowing a run, and Mason Miller's 10-pitch ninth ended it.
