JJ Bleday's lineout in the seventh traveled 362 feet at 106.7 mph — the hardest ball a Cincinnati bat produced all night, and it found a glove in a game the Reds never scored in. Devers's 427-foot home run in the second, his twenty-seventh of the year, drove in three on a 97.9 mph fastball. Chase Burns gave up nine hits and five earned before the fourth ended his night, and the Reds' pen threw four and a third scoreless after him. The Giants' pen covered six and a third of its own.
