Two starters struck out seven each, and neither figured in the decision. Jacob deGrom went six innings with two earned runs, and Drew Rasmussen went seven with one — and both left with the game in the bullpen's hands. Kevin Kelly gave back the lead in the eighth, and Jacob Latz gave up Jonathan Aranda's three-run homer in the tenth — his nineteenth, on a fly ball to right center. Tyler Wells threw two innings without a hit and got the win.
