Vinnie Pasquantino's three-run shot in the 1st meant Kansas City never trailed, and Salvador Perez followed with a two-run homer in the 3rd. Dobnak gave them six innings of four-hit, one-run ball. Spencer Arrighetti needed 91 pitches for 4.2 innings and left with six earned on his line. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit two balls over 110 mph — one into a double play, one for a groundout — and Toronto managed one run on eight hits.
