Michael Arroyo doubled in the fourth inning for his first of the season, then homered in the seventh — two firsts, four innings apart, on a night the Mariners put up 23 hits. Bryan Woo allowed three singles in six innings and the one run that crossed was unearned. Randy Arozarena's three-run shot in the second, on an 87.2 mph slider at 2-1, was the swing that opened it. Arroyo's first double and first homer of the season came in the same game.
