Wandy Peralta faced five hitters in the sixth and gave up four hits and four earned runs without finishing the inning, and Cole Carrigg's three-run homer broke it open. Carrigg went deep twice on the night — a two-run shot in the third and the three-run blast in the sixth — and drove in five. Ryan Feltner held San Diego to three hits over five innings, struck out five, and needed only 61 pitches.
